Early Years Services Liaison Officer
- Salary range of $80,689.15 and $91,882.63 per annum (pro rata 0.4 EFT rate of $32,275.66 and $36,753.05) plus 12% super and annual leave loading
- Permanent part-time position - 15.2 hours per week, worked across two days, with the ability to work additional days at shorter hours
- Located at 32 Civic Dr, Greensborough, VIC 3088

About the role:
Join our team and make a meaningful impact in the community. As the Early Years Services Liaison Officer, you will be the first point of contact for licensed early years' service providers operating from Council-owned facilities. You will support and build the capacity of services and volunteer Committees of Management to deliver high-quality, responsive education and care, and to prepare for the Best Start, Best Life reforms.
A typical day might include:
- Acting as the primary contact and referral point for governance and Education and Care Services National Regulations
- Coordinating professional training and networking opportunities for service providers
- Preparing internal service compliance with Service Level Agreements
- Building collaborative relationships with Early Years Education and Care Services
- Reviewing service and community feedback to identify and implement process improvements
- Developing an understanding of service operations and needs
What you will bring to the role:
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining effective relationships with community groups and service providers
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with community groups and service providers
- Proven ability to develop and implement action plans to achieve defined outcomes
- Experience in early years education and care services, including contract management
- Strong capability to identify, understand and respond to stakeholder needs.
