We are currently seeking 3 passionate and proactive Youth Program Officer's to join the Youth Development team on a casual basis. Working alongside our Team Leader Youth Development and Youth Development Officers, you'll play a hands-on role in supporting the delivery of high-quality youth programs, activities and events for young people aged 12-25 and their families.

What a typical day will look like;

  • Engage young people in activities, programs and events
  • Support the development, delivery and evaluation of Nillumbik Youth programs, activities and events for young people aged 12 - 25 years of age.
  • Provide direct support to young people through the provision of information and referral as required and in consultation with the Team Leader Youth Development.
  • Provide casual support for other programs, activities and events as required by the organisation.

What you will bring to the role;

  • A post-secondary qualification in youth work or other relevant field e.g. social work or community services and/or experience working with young people.
  • A valid and current Working with Children Check
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in working with young people
