Pound Attendant
- Permanent part time position
- Competitive salary of between $66,678.39 and $68,254.26 ($38,673.47 and $39,587.47 pro rata) per annum plus 12% super and annual leave loading
- Monday - Friday 4.27 hours per day approximately (8am -12.30pm)

As the Pound Attendant you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the Nillumbik Regional Pound facility in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with Council's procedures and the Code of Practice for the Management of Dogs in Shelters and Pounds
- Providing day to day care for animals within the pound.
What you will bring to the role:
- Experience in customer focused service delivery
- Certificate II in Animal Studies or commensurate experience working in animal shelters, pounds, kennels and/or veterinary clinic
- Animal handling experience
- Experience in care and maintenance of dogs and other animals
- Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with other staff and the public
- Able to demonstrate self-motivation and self-discipline in work undertaken
- Ability to navigate and operate a personal computer and related software applications.
