Roads & Drainage Maintenance Officer
- Band 3 salary range of between $69,022.11 and $73,587.09 per annum plus 12% super, annual leave loading and allowances
- Permanent full time Position
- Located at 290 Yan Yean Road, Plenty, VIC 3090
- Access to fortnightly RDOs

About the role:
Join our team as Roads & Drainage Maintenance Officer and help keep our Shire's road network safe, clean, and well maintained. In this hands-on position, you'll play an important role delivering road and drainage works as part of our programmed maintenance activities.
Operate a variety of plant and equipment, assist with traffic control, and undertake general labouring tasks to support the upkeep of roadsides and drainage assets. Your day-to-day work will include maintaining road and drainage infrastructure, collecting litter and dumped waste, responding to reports of deceased animals, hauling materials, and carrying out other tasks as directed by the Team Leader.

What you will bring to the role:
- Demonstrated previous experience in municipal roadside, road and drainage maintenance and traffic management
- Current Victorian driver licence with heavy rigid endorsement
- Ability to identify and report on risk/public safety issues and follow appropriate reporting procedures
- Demonstrated ability to work as employee in charge when required and as a member of a team, and gain the respect and cooperation of fellow workers
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
