Senior Corporate Information Officer (Internal Applicants Only)

  • Competitive salary of between $ 80,689.15 and $91,882.63 ($63,744.43 to $72,587.27 pro rata 0.79 EFT) per annum plus 12% super and annual leave loading.

The Corporate Information Unit is responsible for providing an efficient and compliant records management service to council. As the Senior Corporate Information Officer, you'll play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the team, supporting best practice information management, and helping maximise the use of our Content Manager system.

What a typical day will look like;

  • Contribute to the daily operational tasks of the unit, including processing of daily correspondence and document management functions in a timely and efficient manner, and in accordance with the relevant records management guidelines and legislative requirements.
  • Provide expert records advice to ensure organisational records are managed in accordance with records policies and procedures and PROV requirements.
  • Contribute to maintenance, cleansing and reporting activities of Records Management systems to ensure data integrity.
  • Support the Coordinator Corporate Information to maintain a focus on knowledge transfer and capacity building within the Corporate Information team.
  • Maximise the utilisation of Content Manager through education and training and the delivery of improvements that support operational efficiencies.

What you will bring to the role;

  • Ability to prioritise customer requests and project support activities, based on degree of urgency.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and demonstrated proven ability to prioritise and plan tasks within an agreed timeline.
  • Ability to maintain high level attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of data and related information.
