Roads and Drains Maintenance Officer (Internal Applicants Only)

  • Permanent full time Position
  • Competitive salary of between $68,838.80 and $73,281.61 per annum plus 12% super and annual leave loading and allowances

What a typical day will look like;

  • Provide road and drainage works in accordance with the programmed maintenance of the road and roadside network within the Shire.
  • Undertake improvements to, and maintenance of civil infrastructure network throughout the Shire in accordance with maintenance schedules.
  • Work cooperatively with the Roads, Drains and Cleansing unit and other crews within the Operations Centre by helping ensure works are undertaken in a planned and coordinated manner.
  • Driving tip trucks, water trucks, shovelling, general roads and drains maintenance, and operating machines.

What you will bring to the role;

  • ​​Knowledge and experience in road and drainage maintenance techniques, plant and equipment.
  • Demonstrated previous experience and accreditation in Traffic Control / Management (preferred)
  • Current Victorian driver licence (with heavy rigid endorsement)
