Corporate Information Officer (Internal Applicants Only)

  • Competitive salary of between $72,290.64 and $76,687.60 ($43,374.38 to $46,012.56 pro rata 0.6 EFT) per annum plus 11.5% super and annual leave loading.

Join the Corporate Information Unit as Corporate Information Officer and play a key role in delivering an efficient, compliant records management service to the Council. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining records in all formats, in line with industry standards and legislative requirements, and for providing training and guidance across the organisation to support these principles.

What a typical day will look like;

  • Working as part of the Corporate Information Team to provide an effective Records Management service that is responsive to all customers' requirements
  • Processing all daily correspondence and document management functions in a timely and efficient manner, and in accordance with the relevant records management guidelines and legislative requirements
  • Providing a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.

What you will bring to the role;

  • Working knowledge of records management principles
  • Working knowledge of the PROV Guidelines
  • The ability to classify and index documents according to business rules and standards
  • Database search and retrieval skills
